Hitchhiked in on a plant from the shop. I’m a beginner, so I’m sure someone here can help. Also, I plan to put honey gourami in the tank- would they eat this snail without issue?

Bladder snail. Some may eat it, depends on how big the fish is.

Get rid of it. Will take over the aquarium and I have yoyo loches that supposed to eat them. Doesn’t happen. I hand pick out 40 to 100 a day.

It is a bladder snail and yes honey gourami will eat them. For me my black ghost knife fish made quick work of them but they need a really big tank- at least 100 gallons. I had to rehome mine as my tank is only 55 gallons.

If you don’t get rid of it, it will take over your entire tank. I took some floating plants 2 months ago from a lake, bad idea… Have too many now..

I wouldn’t great rid of them they are harmless bladder snails, they are great indicators if you are overfeeding or have a lot of decaying matter they will die off without decaying matter. I had an infested tank of them but once I cut down how much I fed they went away and realized my fish were getting too much food!
