Not sure what site you’re looking at, these reels are like 30 bucks no?

I own both models for budget combos and you can’t go wrong with either. Great performance and reliability for the price point.

Twist my arm and the Sienna is smoother and has better drag, but you aren’t suffering with the Crossfire.

Also, 1000 and 2000 are not interchangeable. If you plan on making any longer casting or drifting, you are better off with a 2000 reel for an UL setup. I know the smallest and lightest reel possible seems intuitive, but you can’t cast or drift far on a 1000 but you can cast and drift short on a 2000

  3. Have you checked out the combos? Usally the sienna has a deal $99 for the combo at either bcf or anaconda.

I haven’t used the crossfire (only the blast and wasn’t a fan) absolutely loved the sienna. Still have mine from 10 years ago and it still goes strong.

  4. Damn that price is brutal. I just bought a Sienna 1000 on clearance for $14 back in late February.

Have a look at the Silstar Sarina, the same entry-point reel.
