This is Elsa, I bought as a baby fish back in December. I thought the black dot and black lipstick was cute, and I was expecting the blue and black to take over the white as she aged. Now she is more white, and some accent spots of orange. No more black. She lives alone in a heated 6 gallon, sponge filter tank, tank is two years old. Some live plants and silk plants. 🙂 Thank you in advance.

I’d say it’s marbling. She seems like a very healthy fish otherwise
Marble genes will constantly add or delete colours, these are effect of jumping genes that create constant mutations even potentially leading to cancer.
