Me and my son got out on a session around noon today. It was hot/hot out but there way a decent breeze. We landed about 18 bass at the first spot. My biggest was 5lbs 11 oz. I caught it on a swim jig with a white ribbed Too Fresh Rump Shaker swim bait with an orange tail. My sone also landed a decent fresh water snook, a sleeper goby, cichlid and a tilapia on a lipless lure that he made. The second spot we fished for about 30 minutes and I hit one on the plopper and he hit one on the lipless. We stopped for lunch and hit the 3rd spot afterwards. Within 5 minutes I had landed two on the plopper and missed two more. In total I landed 4 there and he landed 1 or 2.
Man these are the days that I look forward to on the fish creek. Relaxation, bonding with my boy and catching Plenty Bass.
That’s a Too Fresh Day for sure.
