I've been chasing bass around the UK coastline for over a decade, spent three years guiding anglers of all abilities on the North Norfolk shore, and have probably made every expensive mistake this sport has to offer so you don't have to.
Happy to answer anything — marks, lures, tides, gear, casting, reading water, why you're blanking, whether that £40 Japanese lure is actually worth it (sometimes yes, often no).
Ask away in the comments.

I’m guessing there’s significantly clearer water up where you’re from. But have you fished murky/muddy water and what lures do you see work best for those situations? I could google it, but would like your opinion.
Whats your most successful lures to use at night? I almost exlusively use a gravity stick paddle tail or a do-live. Ive found they wont take anything that isnt retrieved at an absolute snails pace anything else seems to sink too quick for me or doesnt cast as good.
What type of bass? Stripers?
K got one for you… why not fish in a warmer climate?😉😂
Seriously thumbs up for it though. We use titanium leaders further south because pelagics have big teeth. Do you also use such things up north?
