I’ve been looking into something like this for my rods, I have six rods in my rotation (4 spinning 2 casting) but two of them are like an inch longer than my ceiling is tall due to a slope in the ceiling.
I have a few rods that are too tall to have standing, so they get to hang horizontally instead. Made out of an oak shelf and Ikea curtain rod holder 👌

I’m not an apartment dweller and I have them and use them. Keeps them from laying down and getting crushed. Keeps them from leaning against the wall. They’re cheap and easy to install. Do it.
