I have caught them and thrown them on a fish finder rig but they haven't caught anything. Florida, on the beach? Should I cut them up or use them live?? Please help me 🙏

I think that first one is a pigfish? I wouldn’t use him as bait but the second one, I would throw a hook about 2/3 of the way down (just before the tail) and chuck his ass back out there. I used to go through the nose but i had much more success in the surf with spanish and reds hooking right after the tail.
