I’ve probably caught an equal or close to it with a bead vs without. It looks good. I normally run without because I’m outta beads but don’t think it makes a ton of difference. I also normally use a 10” curly tail worm and a bigger hook

  2. Bead doesn’t make much sense for a swimming worm and I’d go with brass and glass instead of lead and plastic if you want a bead but should still work just fine

This minus the orange bead was catching Bass for me yesterday. Every area is different but that color is good for most areas. Lose that bead and definitely keep that 1/8oz weight.

  4. Some like beads. Some nuts. Go for it. Just not in Texas. Those dudes might take offense to it

The bead provides sound, i either use a tungsten weight or brass..with a glass bead instead of a plastic bead

It’ll fish but generally I only use the bead when I’m fishing a Carolina rig.

Does it catch fish? It would if I was throwing it, bead is different but works.

I would go without the bead as well. As far as hook I only use Gamahatsu and no I am not sponsored by them but wish I was 😊

I think it’ll do well. I throw a similar rig with a 1/16 tungsten weight, and it falls slow, but not too slow. good luck out there
