I purchased swivels and snaps for a pike/walleye fishing trip and think I made a mistake?
I’m fishing 30lb braid and read I shouldn’t “oversize” my terminal tackle at the cost of impacting presentation.
I bought 30lb and 50lb rated snaps and swivels— they are TINY!
These were intended to be pair with 20lb 7×7 wire or 50lb mono.
Are these too tiny?? Do I need to go bigger??
Pairing with soft baits, Mepps 3#-#5, various jerk baits and whopper ploppers

Definitely need to go bigger. You want size 2 or 3 normally. Size 4 for swivels. The P-Line ones would work.
I’ve found pike don’t really care about a finesse presentation. They will bite almost anything if they are biting. We use wire leaders with swivels on one end and snaps on the other.
I am not sure a pike will really open those up, but i agree they are small. I find snaps that small to be too hard to handle. Are your pike lures large? What works as a snap can vary depending on what you are connecting. I like coastlock snaps best. Not sure the size but in the 65lb range. The heavy ones get hard to open so its a balance point
