I have a 40l (approx 10 gallons) tank and will be moving my current fish to a larger one. I would like to have a female betta in this one with my grown amano shrimps and an assassin snail (that’s clearing up a hitchhikers plague). I’m planning to add a floating log and replace the filters with one with gentler flow.
What else can I do to make it a nicer home for a betta?

I think floaters and tannins would completely the look.
