Trying to convince my self being addicted to fish keeping is probably the safest addiction for someone with a addictive personality with adhd, I’ve found it’s helped me quit a few addictive bad habits not out of “habit” but because my finances are going towards fish instead of take away, drugs or alcohol. Is it just me or does this resonate with anyone?
First pic: my rack, bottom two shelves are 20L tanks for breeding live bearers and shrimp

Best kind of addiction. Keep it as long as you can. Try not to let that transfer lol
I think……….. you might have a problem.
I am worried I might be going down that same rabbit hole LOL. 2 months ago, I had 0 tanks. Now I have 4, all nanos. But I’m going to upgrade one of my 5 gallons to a 10 gallon soon I think. I’m telling myself that IS IT…. but…… lol
Just a fyi, I’ve only been fish keeping for 6 months 😭
I am so jealous you have infinite plant glitch rn
Definitely been there and done that, so for sure not just you. Deep into addiction though 😂
For my 18th Birthday I got the floor in my bedroom reinforced with extra stumps so I could put another 1000L rack in there without it falling through the floor! I get you!
Mate it happens to the best of us. I had to check myself and downsize a little when I was getting out of hand with it, collecting free tanks from gumtreemarketplace when I clearly had no more space for them and nowhere left to ‘hide’ them. You’ll find your balance.
You got a bad case of MTS 🤣 happens to most of us
Just be mindful of those shelves. They’re made of flimsy MDF that goes mouldy easily!
