Picked these up last night.

Our local lake has a lot of bass, but also a lot of pressure, so it's rare to actually hook one up.

Aside from bass, the lake is full of bluegill and crucian carp.

The last few times I went there with senkos and craw on a texas rig and caught nothing, so want to try something new.

A small hook under a bobber with a live worm is guaranteed to catch a small bluegill, and an unweighted hook with a live worm will get carp. But no luck on bass yet.

It's a fairly opaque, muddy lake without many weeds, but with a few sunken branches.

Also, how should I fish with the bluegill lure? It is only .27oz – should I weight it or tie it directly to the leader?

Final note: the pack of soft plastics was only 60 cents, what a steal!
