Photos in order showing the right side, center, and left side.

The Google maps screenshot that shows exposed land, all of that is typically submerged.

It's supposed to be full of bass, bluegill and carp. But it's one of the only good fishing spots in the region, so there are so many people fishing – mostly on boats.

Been fishing there three times:

– 9am to midday: caught three small bluegill around the trees on the left side with a worm under a bobber. Nothing else.

– 6am to 10am: Caught four crucian carp in the same spot with a worm on an unweighted hook. Nothing else.

– midday to 3pm: nothing

Each time we go out we throw a couple of lines with worms under bobbers, and then try some lures too. I've tried craw and senko on a Texas rig, chatterbait, spoons and a bluegill swimbait.

I'm just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks, but I need a plan. Would love for the kids to be able to catch something every time we go.

Any advice welcome!

In NED I trust. I’d run a zman ned rig. Smaller baits rule. Even elephants eat peanuts.
