There is no such thing as a nice bluegill. Every single bluegill would remorselessly eat you and everything that you love if they were big enough.

It’s a Redbreast Sunfish if you are curious. Relative of the Bluegill found in drainages of the Gulf in the Southeast and midwest. Its been introduced in a few places as well.
