I am awful at fishing but love to fish . I’m looking for the easiest to catch and if there is a Type of tackle not here that yall would recommend let me know my father inherited like 10 tackle boxes of stuff we are still going though so I probably have it
The lakes around me have crappie , bass( large and small) blue gill, catfish, maybe carp and probably a few others
The water is best described as chocolate milk or a green color in some lakes
I have crankbaits, spinners , spoons ,ploppers, frogs, chatterbaits, and lots more but I have no real idea on what works or how to use it other then worm and hook
Out of the tackle that was recently given to me what would work best ?

when in doubt good ol’ worm and hook 🤷♂️
edit: was mentioned. wacky rigged senkos are a good “when in doubt” setup, finesse plastics really. honestly you have everything there, not to sound condescending or anything but a lot of fishing is- pretty slow. worm and hook though tends to yield an inevitable catch from my experience. other than that I would say keep trying, I like to watch some youtube videos, there’s some good stuff to learn.
