The legion rod is a baitcaster rod and the fierce rod is a spinning reel rod.
Looking for reels $100 or under preferably.
Will be fishing in lakes inshore.
Also, I’m a complete amateur. No idea what to look for. From what I’ve read daiwa and shimano are good but I’d also like the reel to kind of match the rod, unless the rods aren’t that good and should be upgraded in the future anyway.

For the spinning rod, a 2500 size reel. Budget under $100, Daiwa Regal or Legalis. A bit over $100, Shimano Nasci. Or the reel normally paired with the rod, a 2500 size Penn Fierce.
Baitcasters are not my jam, but the Shimano SLX A 150 is supposed to be good for around $100.
