I would think there’d be more damage and some puncture wounds as well? This could be a crappy net wound? Or as someone else said mono line?

Sure are! The three claws and on the back make it distinguishable. I’ve seen some with nasty gashes. Trout seem to always be the fish that get away from bird talons the most lol.
