Im looking for a medium light spinning rod to pair with my lews custom lite 200 and this deal looks too good to not give a shot, has anyone tried one of these? I was planning to grab another dobyns but they seem to run a little heavier than advertised.

Lews reels are mint. Lews rods are a hit and miss. For that price get a st croix or gloomis.
That would be a good match.
I was looking at this same rod a few months ago at the same sale price but couldn’t really find info on the rod itself. I know it comes from a combo but nothing else. The daiwa tatula xt is a fantastic rod that pushes above its price and it’s 99$ I’d suggest that.
Winn grips look like doodoo after several trips, especially if you’ll end up using this rod a lot.
