First fish on a new (to me) creek was a whiskey. Salmonflies weren’t actively hatching, but they were around, and fish were after dries. Guess I’ll be going back soon

That’s awesome, never had the chance to fish a salmon fly hatch, love the golden stone hatch on the bow though, adrenaline fishing.
I just came
