Hey yall,
Got my first Van Staal VSX2 and had a question for those who have one :
The reel feels pretty stiff. No real sticking points but not as smooth as I thought it would be. Is this a normal condition from just having to break it in? Or not normal and something I should return or warranty? Adding a video for reference

Standard operating procedure with the VS.
That’s the price you pay for being “bomb proof”. They are notoriously tight and heart.
As Kaiz stated, this is completely normal. It will slightly break in but it’s never going to be as smooth as a shimano or diawa. Trade off being the durability and power
