Won a Shimano Stradic 2500 in a whatnot giveaway so figured what better time to dive into megabass with a Levante Whipsnake.
I liked it so much I decided to also pick up a Levante Diablo Spec R for a Curado 150mgl I had that needed a home! Still getting used to the shorter handle compared to my 7'2 medium zodias, but otherwise It's an excellent compliment to it!
I think I still give the zodias line a slight edge over the levante line, but the price increase on the shimano end is too much to justify a zodias over a levante at this point…

How do you like that whip snake and what do you plan to throw on?! I got a 4 piece 6ft 9 pack rod Levante that I’ve absolutely adored using for small jigs, keitechs, even underspins. Awesome kayak rod too. Been heavily considering getting a whip snake to have as my daily driver.
