9th time in a row getting skunked. At least the view was nice
Headed out to the beach with high hopes today but the fishing gods had other plans That makes it 9 straight sessions without a single bite
Kept telling myself just one more cast but ended up just feeding the crabs and washing my baits
Well, at least my casting felt solid, and you can't beat this view Anyone else going through a dry spell or am I just cursed this month?

Reading this from my desk staring at my computer makes me wanna pull out my tiny violin and play you a sad sad song…
What bait are you using? I can usually at least get at least small shark or catfish off of frozen shrimp.
I also often see surf fishermen casting as far as possible, when many of the fish are just past the break.
What I wouldn’t give to be at the coast right now. Like you, I don’t always care if the fish are biting. So long as I’m there to enjoy the beach, I’m happy. Catching fish just makes me happier. I went a whole month once without a fish. No one else was really catching them either.
I like to run multiple rods at different distances till I find the fish. Then I adjust accordingly.
