Hey everyone! I wanted to share some amazing progress in my low-tech, filterless riparium setup and get your thoughts on how my Betta, Blu, is doing.
Lately, he has been incredibly busy and aggressive with his territory. As you can see in the first photo he has built a massive, thick bubble nest that he anchored perfectly between the Pothos basket and the Anubias leaves. He’s protecting it fiercely and flaring a lot more today, even at me!
On top of that, the terrestrial plants growing out of the tank are absolutely loving the water. My Peace Lily just started pushing out a beautiful new flower bud.
Do you guys think this huge bubble nest and the blooming plant are solid proof that he’s healthy, happy, and that the water parameters are spot on?
