Google said dropsy, now worried as hell. I keep him in a 5 gallon tank with 25C to 28C as the aquarium temperature(I don't have a heater).

I can’t see any signs of Dropsy – he’s not bloated and his scales don’t seem to be pineconing. But what is that dark colouration around his gills?
