Montana. I’m 90% sure it’s a laker (and it should be supper). I know Bulls need to be immediately released so it went back in. Little blood from mouth so I was worried. (I have all the licenses to fish and was gentle with it and only took one pic real quick, I’m a trout newbie)

Lake trout have such a unique build for a fish
if the blood was just from the mouth, it’ll be fine. Lakers bleed from the mouth easily, not sure why
