Okay, I posted some pics of weights earlier this morning. As expected people were skeptical. I’m also an idiot with Reddit, so I couldn’t figure out how to edit the post with more pictures or replace the other ones. I’ve lived in this area for 53 years, I’ve never fished this spot because I never took it seriously. Last week I stopped down here and fished the other side because the water was stagnant and the side I fished today was covered in muck and smelled horrible. Last week, I got several including a 3 and a half pounder. The side I fished today was mostly clear because the water was higher and it was running through those culverts. More importantly it didn’t stink. Lol. Turned out to be a great day. Caught everything here on a watermelon slice laminate colored Yamamoto 5” senko wacky rig. I stood on that pipe and casted from there, that was it 🤷♂️. The last pic is the 4+ pounder.
Anyway, I got a good laugh reading all your comments when I got home. Thanks for that. Hope you enjoy the actual fish pics 😊👍

That looks like a great place you found buddy… And if I were you I’d post whatever you want. There are a lot of miserable people out there that would complain about anything. So screw em. Live your life and just let them be miserable… One thing I can guarantee you, you weren’t miserable at all reeling in those great bass! So congratulations to you. Keep them pics rolling buddy!
Looks like am amazing spot.
Don’t tell ANYONE about it!
Good belly on that fella
Man that water looks like it could just give you every disease known to man lol, but dang if the fish don’t come out of there looking healthy. That last one is a pig, easily a solid 4 if not pushing 5. Wacky rig senkos just crush when you find the right water, doesn’t matter how gnarly the spot looks. That culvert setup is doing you favors too, moving water plus shade equals ambush points and lazy bass eat up on that. Good on you for giving the smelly side another shot when the water came up. You been throwing that Yamamoto in green pumpkin or sticking straight watermelon? Also props for handling the reddit roasting with a good attitude, folks on here can be brutal over nothing.
Great catch! Thank you for this, as it strengthens my willingness to try these spots.
This is the same guy who posted 6 pictures of scale weight and no bass? lol
