I have a 70 liter Dennerle with two filters (Aquael Pat Mini and Seachem Tidal 35), it has quite a lot of plants (limnophila sessiflora all along the back + floaters, epiphytes, emmersed plants and a scrawny little carpet of marsilea). Theres a huge chunk of driftwood in there so the actual water volume is definitely not 70 liter.
I do a 10 liter water change once a week atm.
The tanks been running for around 7 months now and for the last few months been home to 12 pseudomugil luminatus and 1 honey gourami. No deaths or disease. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to get some more fish in there? Dont wanna overstock it, but it also looks a bit empty atm

Very nice tank with good stocking, centrepiece fish with a great schooling fish. Sounds all very healthy. I reckon you could get away with introducing a small number of bottom dwellers like kuhli loaches or small corys like pygmy or panda.
