After spending 3 days covering the whole pond on a kayak catching dink after dink which is admittedly still a blast, I ran into the king of the pond. Biggest bass I’ve ever caught salt or fresh. Didn’t have a tape measure or scale, but I don’t even care the fight was so fun. Watched it jump all the way out of the water and had to horse it away from tree branches on the Airbnb’s Walmart special.

When the fish jumps out of the water on a catch, you ride that high all the way to McDonald’s for a cheeseburger celebration. It’s a good day when that happens
