Only had 4 bites today. 2 on a spinner that didnt get the hook. 2 on the urchin. Second bite on the urchin i got with my rod tip almost straight up trying to get it over a grass mat so Im not surprised I missed that hook up. Overall its a fun technique. Will be trying it more for sure.

Yall just be shoving these things in the bass after you catch them on other lures 🤣
Leaving nothing to chance with the double hook, I see.
Gotta be careful with the frog hooks. If it flips upside down in the water and it tongue hooks the bass deeply, it can kill the fish. It will damage the muscles the bass uses to move water over the gills or cause major bleeding. Urchins are cool, but there are better rigs than frog hooks.
I’ve been using the frog hook myself with good results. But I’m moving to a line through set up with the treble hook.
