I’d go with a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG for the Texas rig.
Those hooks are not appropriate for a Texas rig, at all. You need EWG hooks for that.
These hooks would be appropriate for a drop shot rig using the powerbait worms, not so much the lizards. These hooks would also be appropriate for a wacky rig using a senko or similar stick bait.
Jika rig or Tokyo those hogs trust me
They’ll work, but they might not be as weedless as the recommended hooks (the ones pictured on the lower bag) would be. Typically you want the point of the hook barely exposed and parallel with the bait on a Texas rig
I loooove those lizards. I usually use a jig on it and just slow retrieve it along the bottom. Not sure if that’s proper but I catch bass with it!
Those hooks will work to nose-hook or wacky rig the hit worm on a drop shot, but if you want to Texas-rig the lizards you need a 2/0 or 3/0 EWG hook.
