My partners dad passed away and he loved fishing could anyone tell me where to sell and how much to sell it all for I know nothing about them, there is far to much to list watch one so just a rough estimate to sell it all would be much appreciated, one of the boxes on the right is full of reels and another is full of lines 4 boxes full of tackle, thank you so much in advance

  1. Without seeing all brands it would be difficult to give a decent lot price since condition is unknown etc. Based on the size you could start at somewhere around $700 but again, very rough estimate

  2. Your partner should do the selling ? Looks like a pretty sweet collection though

You need to take inventory of what you have before anyone here can even estimate. Lay it all out, take better pictures, and ask again with more info.

If everything is like that reel, then the value is likely not much overall, but there may be some desirable vintage gear items in the mix.

    As others stated

You definitely need to take inventory

Some vintage stuff IS worth a lot of money.
I just bought a Mitchell reel from the 80s and it was brand new in box
They’re currently selling for 300$ in other local listings in same condition.
I know They’re selling because the listings are gone.
Some reels like Shimano and Van Staal can get EASILY in the 300-1.5k range.

Better safe than sorry, someone said 700$ lot but let there be a van staal amidst the pile and thats an easy 500-1.5k just for that alone.

Another thing is vintage lures like crankbaits snd such.
Google lense will be your best friend
    Take a picture and bam.
If you don’t care about making the most money
Find a similar listing and price it at 65% of what the others are and you’ll get rid of it fast while still getting a good amount of money
