Been using Gamakatsu worm hooks for about 20 years, never once seen this happen.

  2. Yep. Wish I knew before I bought a bunch. It took me a while of building knot skill before I became ok with throwing higher quality hooks

  3. I’ve never had a problem with them. Email the company and get a free pack. It’ll probably never happen again the rest of your life.

I mean I’ve had gamakatsu hooked bend out, but never had that happen. You must have had a bad hook.

No product is perfect, but this is a very rare failure. I’ve trusted them with 30lb+ catfish without second thought

I have recently had my gamakatus hooks breaking under little to no stress, have used them for years but have tested multiple packs of their bead hooks and under very little force they will snap instead of bend. I have never had these problems before so I wonder if they have changed something in the curing process or started using new metal

Literally the best hooks on the market. Looks like an extremely rare overlook. I’m sure if you call them they will replace for free.

  8. I’ve used them for years without any sort of issue.

Even good quality hooks can sometimes suffer from quality control issues and I think you got a bad hook/batch.

I rarely have problems with gamakatsu. Eagle claw, on the other hand, seems like I break one every other month

  10. One hook breaks and they all are a joke? Have you ever made a mistake? Did that make you a joke? Most people find this to be a good maker of tackle.

What happened to it, I’m assuming it was in the package that way? Pretty rare.
