Last winter was pretty brutal. A lot of free time thinking about fly fishing so I ended up making some digital watercolor illustrations of major hatches in the Catskills. I exaggerated some features like colors and body silhouettes to help me spot them in the wild better.
Any entomology buffs here feel like taking a stab at naming the species?

These are beautiful!
These are awesome, well done
Amazing work! Reminds of the Denton fish prints but for insects. #1 Epereous pluralis? #2 cornuta? 4 Green drake, 6,7 possibly paraleps adoptiva, or isonychia and isonychia spinner. Proabably all wrong lol been a bit since I obsessed over/tied reading Hatches II.
