Betta Fish: fin rot?

hey!! ive had my lovely boy for about 2 months now. when i got him, his fins were quite good. about a week into having him he started getting small tears or something, and a couple weeks later it got a lot worse. im just curious to know if its healing or not. ive been using aquarium salts, regular water changes and indian almond leaves. first photo is about a month ago and second photo is now
