Betta Fish: Gut check – is my fish healthy?

Hoping this is just me being anxious – does my betta look too chubby/bloated? I got this guy when he was a juvenile and he is the first fish I have had in several years so a little hard to judge… My childhood fish died from dropsy and now I am paranoid. He is acting totally normal.
