It would be the sole inhabitant besides some snails and some Neo shrimp if he doesn’t eat them. Well planted, will have a heater, ph in the mid to high 7s. Just curious if the size of the tank is good for one.

Yes bettas like horizontal swim space. They’d love it.
That seems like it would be great for a giant betta. It’s not super tall but has lots of horizontal swimming space. Not sure if the shrimp will survive as adults may fit in a giant betta mouth.
A giant plakat would thrive in this!
