Started early and hit the beach at mostly low tide to learn about digging for and worms. Caught a couple dozen and when the waves started coming in we switched to fishing 100%. The worms were golden, constantly getting stolen. Two fish weren’t so lucky. Yummy for me. Bonus pic of a nifty sailboat wayyyy out on the horizon.
The surf was deliciously calm and shallow, I felt like I was wading for miles. The current was wierd, first dragging my rig hard to the right, normal here, but just as I was getting up to reset it FWOOM, it gets yanked straight out. We were next to a rip current so I think it was the rip battling the northbound west coast sashay.
That jacksmelt hit hard, it was a fun one.

Hell yeh
Where at? I’ve been skunked every day in San Francisco since I started surf fishing a month ago. Using Berkeley sand worms on hi Lo rig mostly.
