🍀 The Beautiful Window Aquarium by 原生溪鱼 ((小红书)
What makes this aquarium so special?
It measures 150 cm long, 60 cm wide and just 20 cm high, with a volume of around 160 litres. It sits directly in front of a large window, so it receives plenty of natural daylight.
There is no artificial lighting, no filter, no pumps and no CO₂ system. The water is never changed either—only the water lost through evaporation is topped up.
The aquatic plants are what keep the aquarium stable and provide the system with oxygen. Together, they create a balanced and natural ecosystem. The fish and their food add a steady supply of nutrients, helping to keep the whole system running naturally.

Maintenance is high
this is beautiful, I have 190cm x 170cm x 250cm space. kindly suggest an aqua terrarium setup.
All things are good but height is less 😅😅😅 Around 40 50 cm is sufficient
Feels AI, the fishes look a little weird to me
It's a pond.
I have something similar , but not in a cristal tank, in a flowerpot
Being next to that window brings an insane amount of light on a shallow tank with high surface area. Yes it doesnt need CO2 or a filter but its also an extremely expensive tank with lighting that would be very expensive to reproduce without a big window
Beautiful.
Wonderful and beauty.Love this green 😍
Loved this. Check mine also
No water changes?
Very beautiful, helps to have that huge window!
Balance is beautiful.
What about maintenance from your part? I assume that duckweed covers everything every few days
But you could not view the beauty and their activities in detail from the side
Co2?
dont get fooled, the water doesnt move on its own
too little space for the fishes to swim
And not enough space😂
What's breaking up the waters surface then? the fish? pearling?
там же данио вроде, а они выпрыгивать любят из открытых аквариумов…
The windowsill-like placement and the shallow, mini-pond style make it so attractive.
Worst part is you gottta trim the plants down.
AI?
