P sure that’s a brown trout. No cut mark under the jaw and no vermiculation up top or white on the fins.
Definitely not a brook trout.
What state did you catch it in?
Looks like a salmon smolt of some sort, as stated by another user. Location (state) will help identify of so.
Looks like a Sockeye/Kokanee to me.
