Jig or lure?

That’s a lure more than a classic jig — packaged Crab Head around 9 g (~⅓ oz) with trebles.

A medium-light to medium spinning rod in the 6–7′ range casts that weight cleanly. A Gapen Wilderness spinning rod fits that slot well — stout enough if something bigger grabs it, still light enough to feel the bottom ticks.

Hop or slow-drag it along the bottom; those trebles hang up easier than a single-hook weedless jig, so ease through rocks instead of ripping.
