I’m sure I’m overthinking this but is this any different than the other conventional FC leader line?
I fish mostly with UL and BFS gear. I often venture into the fly shop at BPS for small lures, hooks, and other tackle.
I’ve been using these scientific angler leader spools for ages now because they’re so much easier to carry. The old man fly shop guy at BPS looked offended when I told him it was for a baitcaster setup.. not that I care.
Just curious, what’s the difference other than the price tag? Is there a functional reason for each?
I get the two factions of anglers not hanging out and fishing the same styles, but why the divide at the shop when so much tackle can be used for both methods?
