Hi, this is the first ever aquarium I've bought. It's 336 litres and is freshwater tropical. I did the scape and sandfall all myself this weekend. I have several tall stem plants I wish to add as well as a few minor adjustments to be made, but I'm happy so far. What do you think?Any tips to get this looking better
It's a little hazy now after new sub added etc but it'll soon style back to crystal clear
Any advice is welcomed as well as constructive criticism
Thank you 🙂

Those angels are going to terrorize the others later. Just be prepared.
It’s gorgeous- heads up though a lot of fish will start eating the sand in a sandfall, which is why they sell them encased with a sheet of clear plastic in some places.
personally I’d replace that grey plastic planter pot with a ceramic one otherwise very cool tank.
This is beautiful! I’m new and curious how the waterfall effect is achieved? Thanks!
It looks interesting with the “sand fall” you created. 😁
I’m sure it will be even better once you build out the vertical space and add some shaded areas. I would use some driftwood and get Anubias and Ferns attached to them. Jungle Vallisneria would also be nice.
It’s a large tank but definitely keep an eye on the Ram/Kribensis relationship as well as what the angelfish do once they reach reproductive age/size.
I do agree, the plastic pot in front is a bit of an eye sore. Is it part of the “sand fall” or what is its purpose? Clay/terracotta is a better choice and you can drill those, just got to be careful doing it. Probably easier to do it wet, less likely to crack. I would look for How To YouTube videos.
Lastly, you still have a lot of plants in there that need to be taken out of their plastic pots and have the rockwool removed. They won’t thrive if you leave them like that.
Here’s my cluttered 75 gallon community tank. 😎

The plants in the little black pots with the rockwool should be removed and planted so the roots dont rot. If any of those are like Java fern or anubias you tie or glue them to hardscape instead of planting them in substrate. Not personally a fan of the obvious fake plants and decor but still looks good and good for the fish.
I feel like all your effort went into the sand waterfall… which is dope… it just feels like everything else was just thrown in and not planned out
