    Its one of the most successful lure styles around, catches just about everything. It will twist your line tho so tying a swivel above it or using a snap swivel, ball bearing if possible, on the end of your line is the way to go to minimize twist.

    Smallmouth, trout, pike, pickerel, crappie, perch, larger bluegill. you probably even have a chance on a channel cat

    Pretty much what I use 95% of the time. If there is fish in the water, it will catch them.
