They warned us at the pet store that our Betta would eat our shrimp. We only have a 6 gallon tank but it’s heavily planted and we wanted something to eat the decaying plants. Well… we are happy to say that our 3 shrimp are thriving! Pic of Fish and Cherry (named by my 4 yr old)

I have been debating getting Cherry or Amano shrimp for my 5 gallon betta tank to help with cleanup, I just think my little guy might be too grumpy. Glad it is working for you!
