My daughter inherited this lil one – she was in a 1g tank that was cloudy and around 68 degrees. I have moved her to a 3g while I wait on my 5g. Worried about the lighter spots and if something is going on around her mouth. Test kit arriving today. Temp is 78.

Hi there. The fish has probably been exposed to high toxins and poor water quality in its awful previous home. Ammonia burns look like this.
Pristine water free of ammonia, nitrite and below 20ppm nitrate will help heal up.
