i've had my betta for nearly a year now, and for a while now, ive found that her belly looks quite large
its weird because i don't think she's bloated. from above, she looks fine, and its not HUGE
i can also see an egg spot and she has built HUGE bubble nests, so i assumed she was pregnant. i tried fasting her for a few days, and it stayed the same.
i also have tried aquarium salts to help her digestion and no luck.
is it possible she's just .. built like this? or just constantly pregnant??

5 gallon tank w heater and filter. parameters with a liquid test kit are all normal – no ammonia, nitrates or nitrites. 10% water changes weekly. i feed her bug bites. all plants are silk or real, nothing sharp! she has a nerite snail buddy
Betta’s don’t get pregnant internally. They deposit eggs when coupling with a male, and are fertilised externally. Females can make bubble nests too when they sense conditions are right. Try feeding daphnia or fasting a couple days, then once a day per week.
That’s her belly bloat, he eggs stored a little farther back.
Bro I dont know what r u asking. Females have eggs but not fertilized u need a male to breed. then the female drops the egg (fertilized). If u want to get rid off egg just breed it with male.
