Hello, just got my daiwa legalis spooled up on my first ever panfish setup. Anyone know why my line is doing this when reeling in? Is it over spooled on the back side?

Take the spool off and remove a washer or 2. They will look like little plastic or rubber washers. It also looks like there isn’t enough tension on the line. You need to have resistance when spooling up a reel.
Edit: I have also had metal washers on one reel.

Either you wound it on not even or it’s laying the line cone shaped which you just need to remove a shim from it to lower the spool a bit, there’s vids online on how to fix a cone line lay.
