Ive added 50lb J braid to my Abu Gacia 6000 reel.
I noticed as i was reeling it in the line wasnt sitting flush with the bottom part and staying straight going up, i kept spooling hoping it would even out on its own but by the end i wasnt happy with it. i kept tension on the line the entire time while i reeled it. now idk if im losing line on this now, whether i used the wrong line, or what ive done wrong. i might be the hundredth person in here with the same problem. but can you guys please help me?

Did you put mono backing on the spool beneath the braid?
Braid tends to slip on some reel spools and also can initially go on loose and then tighten up in spots over time leading to the irregular look of how its sitting on the spool.
For me mono backing helps this issue as it keeps the braid from slipping and also takes up alot of dead space on the spool which can also prevent the tightening issue in certain spots that then make for the off look your experiencing.
On reels that I do have that have that uneven look it never really affected function, just my OCD.
