my betta’s fins look way worse out of nowhere!! i have no clue what to do or what’s wrong with my boy! what can i do to help him? this change happened rapidly, i swear he looked just fine yesterday! the current from my filter isn’t super strong either

heater: yes, set between 70°-74°F

how long have i had tank: since nov. 15th 2025

ammonia: 0
NO3: ≈15ppm
NO2: 0ppm
pH: 6.8
KH: 20ppm
GH: 60ppm
how long have i owned fish: 4 months (january 12th 2026)
water changes: 1/3 water change once every 2 weeks
tank mates: 2 mystery snails
food: bug bite flakes a small sprinkle every 1-3 days
decorations & plants: 2 silk fake plants, 1 anubis in a shell, a betta log, i forgot what my other plant is

Picture quality is very blurry for the ones showing his current fins, but I see some black on his tail which is a pretty clear indicator of fin rot. I’d start treating for it
I can’t really add anything else because I’m not at all experienced with diseases, so hopefully other people will reply. Good luck
