Originally wanted a Shimano Unfix for bike commutes, but it only goes up to 8'6" (and I already have an Abu with the same specs).
A fishing buddy had a 4-piece 9'6" Daiwa Lateo in medium, so I expressed my interest in case he wanted to sell it. Long story short, it's now with me and paired with my Shimano Exsence BB 3000MHG.
Not by much, but responds better than my Abu. Casts farther in open water because of the length. Only minor downside, and I'm not even sure if it *is* the rod, is this feels more like an MH than an M (or maybe my old Abu rod is actually an ML instead of an M)
